Project 7a: Comparing Map Projections

I "borrowed" an exercise from the Geography 281 class that explores projections in greater detail. If you have not taken Geog 281 or are still a bit unclear about projections, this exercise is very worthwhile. The exercise reinforces some of the things we have already covered and includes a few things we haven't. Give it a try!

They do things a little differently in Geog 281 so to set up the project, you should:

• Copy all the files from the proj7a directory to c:\temp
• Open the file c:\temp\proj7a.doc and print yourself a copy
• Follow the instructions you just printed
