Whether you like performing outdoor activities, helping the environment, or social networking, you'll fit right in with other members of the Geography Club. We encourage all interested undergraduates, graduate students, staff, faculty, and alumni to be actively involved in the Geography Club. Come join us!
Given the topics of geographic study, study abroad provides an excellent opportunity for geography students to gain valuable perspectives and experiences. Our faculty have organized and led study abroad programs in Europe, Central America, South America, Africa, and most recently, the Arctic. These programs are an invaluable way to gain first-hand geographical knowledge, and they are fun! Regardless of your area of interest in geography and your career plans, participating in a study abroad program can greatly enrich your educational experience. Scholarships are often available to reduce the cost of studying abroad. The Geography department also frequently offers field classes, including “Mountain Field Geography” and “Urban Field Studies”.
