GEOG 100 Global Geography
This information is for the ONLINE version of Geography 100, Global Geography, scheduled for Intersesion 2007.
This course will be administered online. There will be no scheduled class lectures or meetings, but there will be 2 Tests, a Midterm and Final which will be administered to students in person on campus.
Please read the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ).
Because of the lack of class lectures, the course will rely on textbook reading assignments, additional readings on the web, and on line discussions. This course is suitable for students who have no trouble motivating and pacing themselves to work on their own. The workload, however, will be at least as heavy as any non-online section of GEOG 100. Since there will be no class lectures to summarize material, students will need to read the assigned readings very carefully and be able to organize their notes to form effective study materials.
